## Step into the world of fantasy

Fantasy festival celebrates the fantasy genre in all its many forms. Everyone is welcome – whether you’re a hardcore fan, completely new to the genre, or simply curious. Explore atmospheric stalls indoors and outdoors, experience inspiring talks and debates, try your hand at role-playing games, watch or rewatch classic fantasy films, take part in exciting workshops, and enjoy enchanting music as we bring the magic to Esbjerg and transform the city centre into a magical universe filled with wondrous creatures, heroes, and villains.

## The magical axis through the city

The city’s spaces become an active part of the story as the festival unfolds along the magical axis from the Main Library, down Torvegade, and all the way to Musikhuset Esbjerg. Here, experiences are spread across locations such as the Town Square and the International House.

## The festival wristband opens the gateway to magic

Buy your ticket via Ticketmaster and exchange it for a festival wristband upon arrival. The wristband is your key to Fantasy Festival’s magical universe, with experiences, activities, workshops, and talks for both young and old.

With the wristband, you get free access to all talks without the need for a separate ticket. You also enjoy a range of benefits, including access to talks at Musikhuset Esbjerg, and free seat reservations for selected programme items.

Children’s wristbands are valid for children aged 8 to 12 inclusive. Children aged 0 to 7 participate free of charge and receive a complimentary wristband at the ticket desk. Please note that children’s workshops require presentation of a wristband.

### Exchange your ticket for a wristband before the festival and skip the queue

If you have purchased a ticket, you can exchange your ticket for a festival wristband at the Main Library in Esbjerg during the staffed opening hours and skip the queue at the ticket office for the Fantasy Festival.
Simply show your ticket purchased from Ticketmaster, and we will scan the ticket and issue the wristband. You can also pick up wristbands for family and friends.

                                    Which events require seating tickets?

Some talks and activities require both a reserved ticket and a wristband. We will publish an overview of which activities require a reservation here as we get closer to the festival.

                                    Accessibility assistants

Accessibility assistants accompanying a person with a disability have free admission. They only need to show their companion card at the ticket booth to receive a ticket. However, the assistant must still purchase seat reservations or separate tickets for the talks and activities that require them. No distinction is made between visible and invisible disabilities. Please note that different rules may apply with our partners. For events requiring a separate ticket, please contact the specific venue for more information.
