Practical Information

Accessibility

Fantasy Festival aims to be accessible to everyone, including individuals with physical disabilities. We have ensured that most areas are easily accessible through the use of ramps, elevators, and other facilities that make it easy to get around.

Most of our venues, including the Main Library, Esbjerg Museum, City History Archive, Esbjerg Street Food, BROEN Shopping, the Old Courthouse and Jail, as well as Musikhuset Esbjerg, are all designed with wheelchair users and those with limited mobility in mind.

Locations that are not disability-friendly:

Huset:

  • Unfortunately, this area is not easily accessible for people with physical disabilities. The doors may be challenging for wheelchair users, and access to the first-floor lecture hall Gildesalen and the Darkroom is only possible via stairs.

Markedspladsen:

  • Although we have laid down driving plates between the various stalls to improve accessibility, the weather can impact mobility and make it challenging for individuals with physical disabilities to move around.
