"We had an amazing time at the Fantasyfestival in Esbjerg when we attended in 2018! The beautiful library was a suitable venue for hoards of viking warriers and fairy princesses armed with swords and unicorns. Panels were filled with cheerful, smiling people, there were booths to buy fun and fantastical things, and so many wonderful books to buy - we had to buy another suitcase to carry back everything we bought. It was obvious that everyone, from infant to grandparent, was having as much fun as we were!
In our free time, the incomparable Lene Jensen took charge of her ducklings (the wayward Americans and Canadian) and took us sight seeing around the area, where we saw historical buildings, giant statues staring into the sea, and a viking settlement recreation, and she never once locked us up in the trunk of her car as we deserved.Thank you, Fantasyfestival, for a unique and wonderful experience!"
