# Julie Kagawa

Julie Kagawa was a Guest of Honour at the Fantasy Festival in 2019. Julie is an American fantasy author and the writer of the bestselling series *The Iron Fey*, *Blood of Eden*, *The Talon Saga*, and *Shadow of the Fox*. Both *The Iron Fey* saga and *The Talon Saga* have been translated into Danish by HarperCollins Nordic.

Julie Kagawa was born in Sacramento, California. She has worked as both a bookseller and an animal trainer, and she loves reading, painting, gardening, and practicing martial arts. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and several pets.
