# The uncertain hero

Based on the series The Great Devil War and Valhalla, Kenneth Bøgh Andersen talks about the uncertain hero. Characters like Filip and Tjalfe, who doubt, make mistakes and are forced to choose before they are ready. This interview explores why heroes don't have to be brave from the start, and how uncertainty, mistakes and moral choices can be the driving force behind strong fantasy stories. An insight into the more fragile – and human – side of heroism.
