Fantasy only becomes credible when the world can bear the magic. With his background as a historian, Carsten Bossen Christiansen shows how knowledge about war, weapons, religion and everyday life determines whether a fantasy world feels alive or fake. With examples from history, the fantasy genre and his own writing, he demonstrates how small, realistic details can lift big magical stories. A lecture on worldbuilding without plastic armor and empty sets.
