# RJ Barker

Fantasyfestival is pleased to welcome British author RJ Barker. RJ started out as a rock musician, but was dissatisfied with his musical talents, and therefore in 2017 exchanged the rock band for a career in writing. His debut book Age of Assassins received critical acclaim and was nominated for several literary awards. Since then, RJ has completed his first trilogy, written two more complete trilogies, and the first volume of his fourth trilogy will be published in 2026.
