Who are the villains, who are the heroes? What gender are they — and does it matter to the story? Is it about good women versus evil men? What about morally grey characters? Are we seeing a break with the masculine hero?

Moderator Josephine Valentin will gently (and not-so-gently) poke the authors where it hurts — as confessions, laughter, and insight combine to leave the audience a little wiser about the twists and turns of a writer’s brain.
