# Håbefulde Unge Forfattere in Riddersalen

 Stop by our stall, if you are a young writer and miss a writing community.

Håbefulde Unge Forfattere (HUF) is an association for young, both published and aspiring authors. The association's purpose is to bring together young people up to 35 years of age in a nationwide writing community, because why write alone?

Being able to be part of a community around the art of writing, which is otherwise a lonely hobby, is also expressed at our stand at the Fantasy Festival, which we have participated in since 2022. Here, every year we publish the members' own fantasy novels, which for some are their first publication. The novels can be found at the stand, where we also hold a publication reception, which everyone is welcome to - exactly like in the association.

You can also find books on display from our current members who have published with established publishers, which you will also find around the festival. The exhibition serves as inspiration for how to, among other things, Through our community, writers can go from dreams of being writers to real publications, as has happened for Julie Midtgaard, Saynab Farah Dahir, Mariane Mide and Nanna Foss, just to name a few.

Should anyone be sitting out there with a desire for a community about writing, there will be genuine writers at the stand, welcoming and ready to chat with all those who come by.
