# Defenders Detachment in Riddersalen

Defenders Detachment is a non-profit costume club that started in the USA in 2018 as a branch of the 501st. Legion, which is the largest Star Wars costume club in the world.

In Defenders, all our members are employed or formerly employed in e.g. The military, the police, are firefighters, doctors, healthcare workers, etc.

Everyone has one or more costumes from the Star Wars Universe, and we have characters from both the dark and the light side.

As mentioned, we are a 100% pure charity with no funds and no goods to sell, but we spread knowledge about Star Wars costumes, how to get one yourself and our members are happy to pose for various selfies.
