They are dangerous, seductive, and downright defiant — the dangerous women! They steal men, eat children, and tempt with their sensual appearance.

You’ll find them in every religion as the ultimate villains and warning figures. Together, we’ll journey through the Women’s Religious History. We’ll meet mighty women such as Adam’s first wife, the demon Lilith; Russia’s powerful witch Baba Yaga; and of course, we’ll cast a glance at the North’s very own Slattenlangpat.

We’ll explore why women have been — and still are — seen as more vulnerable to evil and demons. We’ll uncover these dangerous women in myth and legend… and perhaps even among us today.

Join this captivating journey with religious historian Sisse Marie Kromann, creator of the knowledge platform Kvindernes Religionshistorie.
