Cosplay Competition
For the first time ever, Fantasyfestival is hosting a cosplay competition and you can take part!
Esbjerg
The competition consists of two parts: a pre-judging round, where your costume is presented to the judges only, and a catwalk, where all participants showcase their costumes in front of an audience made up of other festival guests and the judging panel.
A Truly Magical Host
As something truly special, the competition will be hosted by Niklas Frandsen – a passionate cosplayer and known from the danish version of The Great Bake Off – who will guide both participants and audience through the competition as master of ceremonies.
There are five fabulous categories to win:
- Best Lookalike
- Best Original Character
- Best Craftsmanship
- Best Villain
- Audience Favourite
The first four are determined by the judges, while the Audience Favourite is chosen solely through public voting. One winner is selected for each of the five categories, and you’re welcome to register for more than one category with the same costume.
Highly Skilled Judges
To ensure a fair evaluation, we’ve carefully selected three highly skilled judges.
They are:
- Villanya
- Stickweed
- Skymone
You can read much more about the judges here.
Registration opens on Tuesday, April 22 and closes once all spots are filled or by Monday, August 4 at the latest.
