# Closing jam with Jotunger and Nordkyst

Closing down Fantasyfestival in style.

Jotunger is a Danish Viking band whose work, like the Vikings, is inspired by travel in different parts of the world, as well as different branches of folk and historical music.
Crackling, playful lyre playing, the hypnotic tones of the flute, captivating singing and harmonies, and the horsehair bow dancing over the strings of the lyre. A sound that sings in giants' dens, breathes in the old oak tree and awakens the elf king to life in the mound. Which takes the listener deep into ancient times and transports you to an atmospheric landscape and an ancient time. Soundscapes imbued with Nordic and Celtic tones, and a feeling of recognition that is difficult to put into words.

Nordkyst is a trio with roots in Austria, Latvia and Denmark, who come together around Danish folk music in a field of tension between the traditional and the completely new. The interaction is driven by an immediate jam vibe, where we follow each other's impulses and seize the moment to create a present and energetic experience that lives in the present.
