Fantasyfestival nominated for Byens Bedste 2025
Magien fra Fantasyfestival rækker langt ud over Esbjergs gader – og nu er festivalen igen nomineret til Byens Bedste! Denne gang i kategorien ”Byens Bedste Kultur- & Turistoplevelse” – og vi har brug for din hjælp til at forsvare titlen!
Last year, Fantasyfestival won the award, and this year we are ready to defend it. We do so with heads held high, wands in hand, and the entire fantasy kingdom at our back.
“We are very, very proud. It shows the great effort everyone puts into the festival – from the staff at the library to our volunteers, all the participants, and all the wonderful people in Esbjerg Municipality and across the fantasy kingdom of Denmark,” says Jacob Holm Krogsøe, project manager of Fantasyfestival.
The nomination is proof that Fantasyfestival has become a cultural force in the city – a September weekend where Esbjerg is transformed and portals open to magical worlds. From trolls and heroes to authors and fans – thousands of people gather to celebrate imagination.
