Taran Matharu
Taran is a British fantasy author, known for the Summoner and Contender series (Påkalderen and DelTager in Danish). His books have been translated into 15 different languages and have appeared multiple times on the New York Times bestseller list.
At just 22 years old, Taran began writing the Summoner series as part of NaNoWriMo in 2013, and he debuted as a published author with the first book in 2015.
The first book in Taran's new fantasy series for adults, Dragon Rider, has just been released in English.
Taran visited Fantasyfestival for the first time in 2023, and we are thrilled to welcome him back.
