Katja Brandis
Katja Brandis was one of the Fantasyfestival's Guests of Honour in 2023. Katja is a German fantasy author, known for over 50 books for children, young adults, and adults, including the bestselling series Woodwalkers and Seawalkers, both of which have been translated into Danish.
As a child, she wrote stories, and after an internship at a publishing house and a job as a journalist, she became a full-time author in 2006. She lives near Munich with her husband, son, and three cats, and when she's not writing, she loves reading, swimming, getting to know animals, and traveling.
The visit to Fantasyfestival was organized in collaboration with the publisher Straarup & Co.
