Jim Butcher

Jim is an American fantasy author, known for the bestselling series The Dresden Files, Codex Alera, and the steampunk series The Cinder Spires. The first two books of The Dresden Files have been translated into Danish, with more volumes on the way. In addition to his books, Jim has also written numerous short stories and graphic novels set in the Dresden Files universe, and the series has been adapted into a TV show.

Jim lives with his family in the mountains near Denver, Colorado. When he's not writing, Jim is an avid gamer and role-player, and he also plays the guitar.
